New South Wales:
Information regarding recruitment of ophthalmology trainees by NSW Health is now available

Victoria:

Eligibility criteria for Selection to commence RANZCO Ophthalmology Training:

1. Medical degrees with full registration to practise medicine in either New Zealand or a State or Territory of Australia

2. Completion of a minimum of two years (including the intern year) post graduate pre-vocational experience at the commencement of your ophthalmology training. The requirements are that you should have a broad experience across a range of non ophthalmic medical, surgical and clinical settings with a minimum of 21 months in such posts.

3. Citizenship or permanent resident status of Australia or New Zealand

Selection of trainees to commence RANZCO ophthalmology training in Australia and New Zealand is carried out annually through the National Ophthalmic Matching Program (NOMP).
