Congresses, Meetings and Events

As part of its Continuing Professional Development program for members, the College conducts an annual scientific congress, usually in November. They usually are held in a major city, rotating through the Australian States and New Zealand. The College Branches also host an annnual scientific meeting.

The 40th Annual Congress of RANZCO will again host the Pfizer ophthalmic film festival which will run continuously for three days during the Melbourne Congress. Submission of abstracts to the RANZCO web site are now invited. Actual films will not be required until mid-October.

New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania and New Zealand all host an annual scientific meeting whereas South Australia and Western Australia host a scientific meeting bi-annually. SIG Meetings also listed here.
